From the Archyves: I LIKE road courses 04/14/08

Having grown up with Laguna Seca Raceway nearly in my backyard, I am a fan of the road races. I'm looking forward to this weekend's Nationwide race, and not just because "Autodromo" is fun to say.

Besides my RFR regulars, David Ragan & Carl Edwards, Jack's got 2 drivers stepping up from the truck series -- Colin Braun & Erik Darnell. Erik's making his Nationwide debut, but if you were a fan of the Discovery Channel's Driver X series, you'll remember him as the guy who won the ride. Colin's no slouch either, with a ton of credits to his name, all by the tender age of 19.

Also on the entry list are other Cup regulars Clint Bowyer, David Reutimann, Kyle Bush, Sam Hornish, and Patric Carpentier.

Other notable entries are Landon Cassill (in the #4 for Phoenix Racing), Boris Said (a road ringer), and Stanton Barrett & his dad, Stan. All should make for an interesting race.
